Other than an unexpected guest named Isaias, Fall 2026 GPO Golf League was great! Thank you for being a part of it.
We had our first ever first place tie in Fall League history between Forever Pin High, Never on the Green (Chris and Sarah Ducksworth) who lead most of the season and the charging DDHS (Charles Petrice and Scott Lambert). DDHS caught them on the last week with a 34 (net 33) on the back 9 to grab a share of the lead. We had to go to the tiebreaker as stated in the rules. The first tiebreaker is “Lowest total net, handicap adjusted score for the season.” After tallying the scores, it was DDHS 237 and Forever Pin High, Never on the Green 239. So, after going to the first tiebreaker, we have a new Fall League Champion:
DDHS (Charles Petrice and Scott Lambert)
Congratulations to our new champions.
Also, I want to give alot of love to our 2nd place, Forever Pin High, Never on the Green, as this is the 3rd time in 6 seasons of Fall League that they have come in 2nd place. They are our very own Buffalo Bills (sorry Andy). Thank you, Chris and Sarah for being a huge part of this league with your presence and competitive spirit. Your consistency and attitude are an example of what makes the league worth playing.
Next Tuesday, November 3, 2026, we will meet at Scenic Hills for our short Fall Awards Ceremony. We will have food and drinks and get to enjoy each other’s company one more time before the long winter break. All participants in the Fall 2026 GPO Golf League are invited. Details to be communicated soon.
We plan to be back for Summer 2027 GPO Golf League on April 6, 2027 at Scenic Hills Country Club. Put it on your calendar and look for the announcements on our chat. If you are one of our non-NFCU members, I will send out an email by early March to provide you with details.
Hope you have a great winter and thank you for making the GPO Golf League great!
